Rediscover 25 of Singapore's coolest heritage spaces on this free trail

If you've been meaning to get out of the house, here's a good reason to. To mark its 25th anniversary, the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) has launched the SLA25 Rediscovery Trail, a self-guided experience that invites the public to explore 25 SLA-managed State properties that have been thoughtfully reimagined through adaptive reuse.

Running until September 13, 2026, the trail takes participants across a diverse mix of heritage buildings, lifestyle destinations and green spaces, including New Bahru, Dempsey, KADA, Gillman Barracks, Lau Pa Sat, Smith Street Chinatown, The Alkaff Mansion, Lazarus Island, St. John's Island, Chip Bee Gardens, and more. In total, there are 25 stops to tick off, each with its own story and history to uncover.

You could easily explore these locations yourself, but there are perks to doing the trail with the SLA25 web app. When you check into the property on the app, you’ll unlock stories, hidden details, and fun facts about each location. You’ll also get to access more than 140 exclusive promotions, ranging from dining and retail discounts to craft workshops and volunteering opportunities.

There's also a collector's incentive for those who love completing a challenge. Participants can unlock eight limited-edition SLA25 digital mementos, earning one for every three state properties they visit. Those hoping to complete the full set will need to make their way across all 25 locations before the trail ends.

Not sure where to begin? The trail also organises stops into themed routes – one for food lovers, one for families, and more – if 25 locations feels overwhelming. We recommend starting with locations you’d visit anyway: New Bahru and Dempsey are already on most weekend lists, and Lau Pa Sat and KADA are easy to fold into an existing trip. Save Lazarus Island and St. John’s Island for an all-day outing – these require a ferry to visit.
