Support local arts organisations and initiatives with these nifty free credits

What a time to be a Singaporean. We’re still reaping the perks of this year’s Singapore Budget, with the latest goodie drop being the SG Culture Pass. As this is the first year in history that we’re receiving such credits, there are naturally many questions surrounding redemption, where to spend that $100 and so on. So let’s get straight down to it – here’s everything you need to know about the SG Culture Pass.
Think of the SG Culture Pass as the artsy cousin of CDC Vouchers; They’re used to offset the purchase of tickets for selected arts and culture events in Singapore. This will help Singaporeans better immerse themselves in the homegrown creative scene, while supporting local arts organisations and initiatives.
Every Singaporean aged 18 and above as of 2025 is eligible to receive $100 worth of SG Culture Pass credits, regardless of income status or housing type. Permanent Residents (PRs) and those on employment passes or student passes are not eligible for the pass.
SG Culture Pass credits are redeemable from September 1, 2025.
To redeem your credits:
You can only use your SG Culture Pass credits on purchases made via official ticketing partners:
Sistic already has a seemingly endless list of SG Culture Pass-eligible events to choose from: still-life sketching workshops, Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) concerts, cyanotype canvas printing, a Nanyang tea experience, and opera shows are just some of the many.
Esplanade’s list includes a flamenco performance, classical Indian music showcase, and local plays.
Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert in November and Sing60 Music Festival are also eligible events.
While tickets to some of these events are already available for purchase, only bookings made after September 1 can be offset using the SG Culture Pass.
Thankfully, SG Culture Pass credits have a rather long expiry window of over three years, from September 1, 2025 to December 31, 2028. Make sure you don’t forget about them, else they’ll go to waste and won’t be reinstated once 2028 ends.
