We have fabulous news, theatre lovers! After theatres being closed for the past seven months, Singapore Repertory is reopening its doors for live performances of Tuesdays with Morrie in November. Based on Mitch Albom's best selling memoir, Tuesdays with Morrie is a touching, powerful and celebratory story that may change your outlook on life.

“This play may seem bleak on the outside, but it is really a play about hope! It shares so many pearls of wisdom that I leave feeling optimistic about life and it’s possibilities. I have also laughed out loud many times in rehearsals. There are so many funny moments! I think the audience will enjoy learning, laughing and quietly listening," says Director Samantha Scott-Blackhall.

Written by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom, Tuesdays with Morrie takes the audience on an intimate journey, charting the deep personal bond between mentor and student as they explore themes of love, acceptance and death – but most importantly, how one should enjoy life. Theatre veteran Remesh Panicker will play the role of Morrie; while Mitch will be played by Benjamin Chow.

The play previews on November 1 and premieres on November 4; and will run till the first week of December. Book your tickets here from now till October 20 to get a 15 percent Early Bird discount – and make it quick as only 50 people can attend each show.
