This July, the Chivas Regal Crystalgold Summer White Spirits Takeover is turning some of Singapore's best bars into must-visit drinking destinations. Running across four venues and a line-up of cultural and community-led events, it invites you to discover exclusive cocktails and fresh serves built around Chivas Regal Crystalgold, recognised as The Spirits Business' 'Most Innovative Spirits Launch of 2025.'
Chivas Regal Crystalgold is crafted through a pioneering filtration process that transforms the golden-hued, oak-aged blended Scotch into a crystal-clear liquid while retaining its signature smoothness and layered flavours. “While it retains the fruit-forward profile, it complements the cocktail's citrus and orange notes. [It also preserves] the old-age complexity while working in lighter, early-evening cocktails. And by barrel-aging it, you introduce additional layers and oxidation into the cocktail itself,” explains bartender Russell Chia from Last Word.
The result? “A smooth and very clean finish,” notes co-founder of Side Door, Bannie Kang, who was also a judge at Pernod Ricard's SIP Supernova Singapore 2026 competition. This versatility allows it to shine across a wide range of serves, from refreshing highballs and spritzes to more spirit-forward cocktails.
The best way to experience it? Through the creativity of Singapore's bartenders, of course! At Bae's Cocktail Club, expect a bright, Margarita-inspired serve that combines Chivas Regal Crystalgold with yuzu and a Tajín rim for a punchy citrus kick. Over at Last Word, the Barrel Aged Corpse Reviver No. 1 puts a richer spin on the classic with cognac, Calvados and rosso vermouth.
Prefer something lighter? Milli's Whisky Green Tea blends sencha distillate with clarified yuzu and a silky matcha foam. And at Side Door, the crystal-clear Golden Ratio highball pairs the spirit's signature smoothness with caviar or an unexpectedly refined finish.
