Dino Disco: The Last Dance brings silent disco, prehistoric giants and after-dark vibes to Science Centre Singapore

If your usual weekend plans are starting to feel a bit too predictable, here’s one roarsome way to make sure it isn’t.
For one night only on March 21, from 8pm to 11pm, Science Centre Singapore is turning DINOSAURS | EXTINCTIONS | US into an after-hours silent disco with Dino Disco: The Last Dance. Think glowing headphones, three music channels, and a dance floor surrounded by prehistoric giants in one of the most surreal party settings in town.
At the heart of it all is Patagotitan, the 40-metre-long giant and the largest dinosaur known to have ever walked the Earth. It is the star of the exhibition, but not the only one. The experience also puts you in the company of other prehistoric heavyweights, including Scotty, the largest T. rex ever found.
This event also marks the launch of Sundown Science, a new after-dark series by Science Centre Singapore that blends science, culture and nightlife through fresh experiences and unexpected collaborations. The debut edition is being presented in collaboration with Silent Disco Asia and curated by Wild Pearl.
If you’ve never experienced a silent disco before, here’s the gist. Everyone wears LED-lit wireless headphones while three DJs spin simultaneously on different channels. One might be dropping disco classics, another house beats, and the third pure pop anthems. Switch between channels to find your groove. Take the headphones off and the room drops into near silence, apart from the occasional off-key lyric and bursts of laughter. Put them back on and you’re right back in the party.
When you need a breather from all that Jurassic-level dancing, there’ll be a pop-up bar serving non-alcoholic drinks and bites, keeping the whole night easy, social and accessible – whether you are coming with friends, your partner, or just turning up for the story.
Main ticket releases have sold out, and a final release of advance tickets goes on sale online today. After that, only a very limited number of door tickets are expected to be available. Get yours here.
