A Peranakan-inspired Lego wonderland where you can admire and build your own creations

Ever wished you could step inside a Lego house? Now you can – Singapore-style. From now until April 5, Design Orchard is home to Lego's first-ever Shophouse Experience, a pop-up where you can wander through Lego-filled rooms, admire Peranakan-inspired Lego designs, and build your own creations.
The pop-up is modelled after a real home, with rooms flowing from one to the next. Enter through Lego’s first-ever Peranakan-inspired brick tile wall. From there, roam into a dining area decked out with traditional-inspired patterns, or sink into a cosy living room where Lego doubles as funky décor.
Adults can hang out at a futuristic retreat with curated Lego displays, while kids get a dreamy zone full of pastel Lego builds, lofts, and study nooks.
Get hands-on and create your own postcard by collecting stamp colours that will slowly reveal a Peranakan-inspired graphic. You can also try building your own retro Lego Boombox on weekdays, and a Lego Peranakan mosaic tile on weekends at the pop-up retail zone (limited daily, running on a first-come, first-served basis).
If you want to bring a piece of the fun home, check out the retail zone where you’ll be able to shop a handpicked selection of Lego sets. Grab exclusive merchandise like ceramic mugs and silicone coasters, and check out exclusive artist sets like Claude Monet – Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies, the Mineral Collection, and the Sunflower Bouquet.
Time Out tip: Lego Insiders members get even more perks. Sign up onsite for free and you could walk away with a brick-based reward like the Grey Castle Set, Retro Tape Player, or Baby Gorilla Encounter (first-come, first-served, and limited to one redemption per person).
