Roll up, roll up! The Great Circus of Europe is setting up its Big Top at the Bayfront Event Space at Marina Bay and all are welcome to have a ball of a time from December 20 to January 1, 2020. Brought to you by local carnival veteran Uncle Ringo, this marks The Great Circus of Europe's debut in Singapore. It's also part of the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2020 celebrations which makes it the perfect family affair to ring in the new year. But it's not just a circus either – the entire experience is topped off with Uncle Ringo's family-friendly carnival games, thrilling rides and tasty bites at the food street.

Forget taming lions and juggling elephants of the old when you enter the Big Top. Instead, this modern circus ropes you in with jaw-dropping stunts perfected by a talented ensemble of circus performers from around the world. Led by ringmistress Hayley Gandey, the 90-minute extravaganza showcases the impressive flexibility of contortionist Prince Amiri (aka the Bone Crusher), the highly energetic choreography of The London Showgirls and the silly antics of Clown Andreea.

Colombian daredevils The Gerlings are taking on the dangerous Double Space Wheel where four acrobats perform stunts inside and outside the pods, and race inside the iron mesh globe Thunderdome. Hold onto your seats, there's more motorbike action. The Skyriders are set to journey seven-metres in the air on a 15-milimetre-wide wire.

And what's a circus without enthralling aerial displays that will leave you in awe? Watch The Survivors as they finesse precise and near-impossible choreographed manoeuvres up in the air. The Serik Brothers also perform a series of acrobatics while being suspended 13-metres above ground. Entertaining the crowd with more energetic sets are The Athumani Warriors and The High Rollers. Then sit back for a riveting aerial ballet display by Duo Nava.

Tickets to The Great Circus of Europe are available from $70 to $150, and are on sale online. From now until November 15, enjoy 20% off with the promo code: EBIRD20. Admission to the carnival is free. For more information, visit uncleringo.com/circus
