Fans were disappointed when The Projector announced the closure of Projector X at The Cathay, but a new door has opened for the independent cinema operator with the launch of their Cineleisure outlet – currently their second existing branch aside from the OG at Golden Mile. And in celebration of this milestone, they’re having a three-day ‘housewarming’ promotion with limited-time $3 movie tickets at this new space.
The $3 tickets are applicable for the following films:
- ‘Portrait of a Lady on Fire’ – December 18, 5pm and 8pm
- ‘Eating Air’ – December 19, 8pm
- ‘Good Time’ – December 20, 5pm and 8pm
The first is a sensual French production, centred around a female painter and a reluctant bride who has just left a convent. ‘Eating Air’ is a nostalgic local classic about teenage love, guest-starring Mark Lee and Kit Chan. The final film is an action-packed one starring Robert Pattinson that involves a man’s harrowing journey in an attempt to save his brother from jail before time runs out.
Three days, three shows, all at just three bucks each – it looks like your date plans for the coming weeknights are all set.
