Holland Village has long been the go-to for laidback brunches, boutique browsing and the occasional pampering session. But this August, Singapore’s bohemian lifestyle and dining enclave is getting a little livelier with a free, day-to-night festival that’s bringing together local businesses, interactive experiences, live entertainment and pet-friendly fun.
From August 29 to 30, the two-day festival in front of Holland Piazza invites you to rediscover one of Singapore’s most walkable lifestyle precincts through a mix of food, creative workshops, fun games, after-dark entertainment, and even a pet-friendly Paw Quest Zone for your furry companions.
This cool initiative by Singapore Nightlife Business Association (SNBA), in partnership with Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) encourages visitors to explore more of Holland Village while giving businesses new ways to connect with customers, collaborate and create memorable experiences. It also reflects a wider push to strengthen Singapore’s lifestyle precincts through collaborative, community-led placemaking.
And while there’s plenty happening across the festival grounds, three familiar Holland V names are giving you even more reason to make a trip: Sweet Cheeks, Birds of Paradise and Freedom Yoga.
First up, put your palate to the test at Sweet Cheeks (24 Lor Mambong) with its Blind Taste Test experience. Guess one of two key ingredients in the mystery gelato correctly to win a treat, or nail the exact flavour for a special Champion’s Treat and a lucky draw entry to win a $50 Sweet Cheeks dine-in voucher. One attempt per person on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.
Over at Birds of Paradise (3 Lor Liput), Festival Pass holders can enjoy a complimentary topping with every gelato purchase, limited to the first 100 redemptions. Don’t miss the limited-time Petite Trio featuring three baby scoops of gelato in a cup, topped with one topping per serving worth $9.
If your idea of a good weekend involves moving rather than merely melting into a chair, Freedom Yoga's playful 45-minute Partner Yoga Experience brings accessible partner stretches, balancing poses and shared movement to Holland V.
