Some of us fondly remember heading to Toys"R"Us to snap up the latest toys and games. While the iconic brand is not what it used to be, its latest and greatest local store might just change your mind. This time, it's gone in a new and surprising direction – overhauling its look and introducing a mega indoor playground in collaboration with Kiztopia.

Gone are the garishly bright decor and crowded shelves at the newest Toys"R"Us Jewel Changi Airport. Instead, the store embraces a minimalistic look with accents of colour inspired by the artwork of Piet Mondrian. Effort has been made to make the space look clean and uncluttered, with low and compact shelving to help eager little tots see and touch the toys and products.

Toys"R"Us at Jewel Changi Airport is not just for children though. Avid collectors will find a treasure trove of exclusive merchandise to shop from too. Head down to score limited edition merchandise by Mighty Jaxx International, which will be introducing an exclusive Mr Koifish series that is available only until December 31. Funko Pop will also be debuting a Geoffrey exclusive at the Jewel store. There are more collectibles that you won't be able to find at other Toys"R"Us stores in Singapore, including plush toys of iconic local attractions (think the Merlion and Airport Tower), and items from Gundam, Gunpla, Jurassic World, and Masterpiece Collectible.

But if there's one reason to make the trip east to check out the new store, it's the addition of the massive indoor playground, Kiztopia Club. Occupying more than 4,500 square feet of space, the aviation-themed play park has thrilling features to entertain kids and parents for hours on end. Kids can zoom down a funnel slide and into a ball pit, practise their aim at an interactive ball-shooting game wall, challenge themselves at obstacle courses, and explore a giant plane structure. Single admission tickets start at $22.80 for an hour of play.

Toys"R"Us is running Star Card member offers for its grand opening day on December 14, with free Funko Geoffrey, Nintendo Switch Lites, and food and drink vouchers up for grabs. Find out more about the opening specials on Toys"R"Us Singapore's official Facebook page.
