TWG Tea has officially opened the TWG Tea Gallery at Changi Airport Terminal 3, the homegrown brand's largest flagship in the world – and that's not even the most interesting part.

The TWG Tea Gallery also houses the brand's first-ever tea museum, a gifting section, takeaway counter, and new tea-infused ice cream and sorbet concept. Spanning 2,700 square feet, it features a wall of more than 1,200 tea tins and a hand-painted world tea map across the 23-foot-high ceiling.

The main highlight is the TWG Tea Museum, which houses more than 170 antique tea wares and decorative objects, alongside more than 50 antique Russian samovars — including notable 19th and early 20th-century examples from the celebrated Tula workshops, with pieces by makers such as the Batashev and Shemarin brothers bearing distinctive hallmarks that collectors can trace to specific periods and hands. The brand has built the collection over the past 15 years, sourcing pieces from around the world.

Among the exhibits are Yixing clay teapots, Chinese and European porcelain, silver bachelor teapots and antique tea caddies (interestingly, "caddy" derives from "kati," a Malay unit of weight by which tea was traditionally sold). You’ll also find blue-and-white ceramics that reflect centuries of Chinese-Islamic artistic exchange. Guided tours are available with TWG tea trainers if you'd like to geek out more.

The retail selection runs more than 1,000 single-estate harvests and exclusive blends, plus tea accessories, gifts and travel-friendly goodies. This includes the debut of Grand Voyage Tea, a whole-leaf green tea created exclusively for the Gallery. Inspired by Singapore’s history as a crossroads of cultures and journeys, the blend brings together notes of golden orchard fruits, pink rose petals, mallow blossoms and warm spices. It costs $45.87 packaged, or $8.50 for a 450ml takeaway serving, available hot or iced.

For the first time in Singapore, TWG Tea has also introduced its new tea-infused ice cream and sorbet concept, created exclusively for the Changi location. Flavours include pandan gula melaka & coconut tea ice cream and soursop & temi sorbet, priced at $6.50 for one scoop or $10 for two.

If you’re not in the mood for ice cream, then go for its macarons and chocolate bonbons instead. Try the mango macaron with Alfonso tea-infused chocolate ganache or the pistachio praline with crème brûlée tea-infused royal feuilletine crisp.

There are opening perks, too. MyTWG members who spend at least $100 at the Gallery get a complimentary takeaway tea, while the Changi Tote Bag Bundle costs $98 and comes with a TWG Tea tote bag, mug and two TWG Tea Cotton Teabag gift boxes.

TWG Tea Gallery is now open 24 hours at Changi Airport Terminal 3, Departure/Transit Lounge North, #02-58B.
