If the name Hanumankind rings a bell, chances are your TikTok feed once served you the thunderous hook from ‘Big Dawgs’ on repeat. The breakout hit exploded online and quickly leapt beyond the algorithm, racking up hundreds of millions of streams and even cracking the global charts – not bad for a track that began life as a brash hip-hop flex from a Kerala-born rapper.

Born Sooraj Cherukat, the Houston-raised artist has become one of the most exciting new voices in global hip hop, blending Southern rap influences with Indian sonic textures and high-octane delivery. His rise has been nothing short of meteoric: festival stages, global playlists and heavyweight collaborations have come calling, including appearances on ‘Victory Lap’ projects with Fred Again, alongside rap heavyweights like Skepta and Denzel Curry. He also co-wrote and performed ‘The Game Don't Stop’, a track featured in the campaign for season two of Netflix’s Squid Game.

The momentum carried straight into his debut mixtape Monsoon Season, a stormy 12-track project packed with booming beats and razor-sharp bars. Featuring collaborations with A$AP Rocky, Denzel Curry and more, the release shows an artist rapidly evolving beyond viral fame. And now he's heading to Singapore, right after his shows in Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Petaling Jaya.
