It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and especially so over at Capitol Singapore and CHIJMES. This festive period, the two lifestyle destinations will be transformed into a magical wonderland – filled with light installations, a massive Singing Tree, and giant Nutcracker soldiers.

But the main highlight: picture-worthy dining domes that can be found at Capitol Singapore’s Outdoor Plaza and CHIJMES Lawn. Reminiscent of igloos, these air-conditioned bubble fixtures provide a cool, and socially distant, space to share a meal with loved ones. Each even comes decked out with stunning backdrops.

Dreaming of a white Christmas? Then head to The Land of Snowflakes over at Capitol Singapore from November 20 to 25. Bookings are available in two-hour blocks here, on a first-come-first-serve basis. Purchase of food and drinks from Capitol Singapore or Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski restaurants is required.

And for a tropical getaway, drop by the Land of Flowers at CHIJMES from November 20 to January 3. Here, the domes come sheltered under a canopy of trees, and are decorated with beautiful potted plants. Bookings are similarly available in two-hour blocks here, on a first-come-first-serve basis – and you’ll also need to purchase food and drinks from various CHIJMES restaurants.

Gift-hunting is also made easier at the Land of Sweets at the Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski. Browse from over 20 Christmas booths, selling everything from tea sets to self-care essential oil. The celebration continues with light projection shows, Instagram-friendly installations, and an 8-metre tall Singing Tree that will belt out holiday tunes at various time slots.
