There’s a secret spot in Singapore’s nightlife scene, and it’s too good to keep to ourselves. Say hello to AVENUE Singapore – a bougie boogie wonderland hidden inside the colossal Marina Bay Sands, within the same space as its more extroverted sister nightclub MARQUEE Singapore.

And we’ll let you in on another secret: AVENUE has its very own stylish side entrance along Bayfront Avenue, so you don’t even have to navigate inside. Plus, if you’re the designated driver for the night, AVENUE has its own private parking area, which is accessible from within the carpark of The Shoppes – talk about VIP vibes.

But don’t expect your typical thumping nightclub. AVENUE is more like a sophisticated penthouse where you can kick back in style. Inspired by the original lounges in New York and LA, this sultry 372-square-metre hideout is decked with plush custom banquettes, textured granite tables, glowing pendant lights, and wood-panelled walls.

It’s not just about lounging pretty either. There’s a gold room with its own personal bar, a private section with two mini bowling lanes, and a games zone that will bring out your competitive streak. Ready for some sundown fun? Here’s how to make the most of your night.

Sip and savour its signature menu

AVENUE’s gilded bar slings out signature cocktails ($28 each) that channel its American roots and Asian location, from innovative originals to slick riffs on modern classics. Gin fans, don’t skip the punchy G.L.T. or refreshing Eve’s Garden. Prefer agave spirits? The Basilico features mezcal, while the tequila-based Caliente is infused with Don Julio Reposado.

Feeling peckish? Refuel with bar bites such as crispy waffle fries ($24), juicy wagyu sliders ($30), and crunchy chicken karaage ($28). When the weekend rolls in, treat yourself to AVENUE’s Golden Hour open bar on Fridays and Saturdays, from 10pm to midnight, where you’ll enjoy free-flow drinks and chef-curated nibbles to keep the party going. Entry is $60 for gents, $40 for ladies, with complimentary entry for the first 30 ladies each night.

Have a ball of a time

Slip into AVENUE’s private section where things get playful. There are mini bowling lanes to put your skills to the test and bowl a turkey with three strikes. There’s also a games room featuring vintage arcade games, classic skee ball machines, and a pool table to challenge your mates to some friendly competition. It’s also the kind of place where you can clink glasses and banter over a round of pinball.

Show off your best dance moves

When the DJ hits the decks, AVENUE’s lounge flips from a plush retreat to a high-octane dancefloor. We’re talking intelligent lighting and state-of-the-art D&B Audiotechnik system, delivering a full-body sonic experience. The party rolls on from Wednesday to Saturday, with themed nights that bring serious beats and even better energy.

Wednesday is a celebration for the ladies with Midweek Mystique, while Thursday is all about the VYBE, where DJ PartyWithJay spins Afrobeat, Amapiano, and Latin grooves guaranteed to shake your hips. Come Friday and Saturday, the heat turns up with hip-hop, R&B, and party anthems setting the dancefloor ablaze.

Celebrate AVENUE’s sixth anniversary

Save the date – AVENUE is throwing a big birthday blowout on June 4, and it’s about to be draped in decadence. Themed to ‘Venus In Furs’, the lounge transforms into a heady blend of rose-drenched textures, celestial glamour, and after-dark allure. And American rapper O.T Genasis is set to leave you starry-eyed with chart-topping hits like the viral ‘CoCo’, and ‘Cut It’ featuring Young Dolph. From Aphrodite’s touch to heavy-hitting hooks, this anniversary is for the gods – and the girls who run it.

Whether you’re looking for a pre-game, main event, or afterparty, AVENUE is everything rolled into one. It’s open from 10pm till late, from Wednesdays to Saturdays. Find out more here.
