Time Out says

Laugh-out-loud musical A Singaporean in Paris, presented by Sing’theatre, is back! This two-time sold out show directed by Hossan Leong is a classic fish-out-of-water tale told in energetic song and dance.

Running from November 2 to November 13, A Singaporean in Paris is about a Singaporean performer who moves to Paris to chase his dream of performing in a cabaret. There he meets colourful characters and unexpected situations – and realises that Paris and Parisians are not all that he imagined it to be.

Based on anecdotes and observations by real Singaporeans who have lived (or are still living) in the City of Light, A Singaporean in Paris holds up a mirror to both Singaporean and Parisian culture. Told with rapier wit and enjoyable lightheartedness, it's also a treat for the ears –  bringing the best of French chanson (‘song’) to the stage with a musical ensemble led by Elaine W Chan.

The rest of the incredible cast include Hossan Leong, Peter Ong, Gaby Rae, Ethel Yap and Amin Alifin, who'll be showing off their comedic and singing chops on familiar songs like "My Way", "Beyond the Sea", "La Seine", and more.
