Time Out says

W!ld Rice starts off the year by relocating a production of Spanish playwright Federico García Lorca’s last work to a Peranakan household, where the tyrannical mother Bernarda seals her five daughters off from the outside world following her husband’s death, and centres on the ensuing jealousy, rivalries and oppressed sexuality that results from it.
