French chef Armin Leitgeb (formerly of Les Amis) is back in town to lend his name and menu items to this casual bar/eatery occupying the space left by Bodega Y Tapas, next to Esmirada on Orchard Road. Taking a tapas-style approach by serving smaller plates, there are several familiar items from Leitgeb’s previous venture; look out for snacks like the beef tartar cones ($14) and his signature pork croutons with lightly smoked eel ($17). There are also options such as grilled Spanish octopus ($19) or a Middle-Eastern-flavoured spicy lamb burger ($18), as well as other international flavours, such as Hamachi ($16/four pieces) or the salmon flambée ($9/ three pieces).
