From the Italian L’Operetta brand, Bar L’Operetta on Circular Road is a casual, family-friendly joint with a menudominated by pizzas fired up by pizzaiolo Sanjo Sanenaga. Topping his thin-crust pies with tomatoes from Sicily, Campanian buffalo mozzarella and Puglian burrata, the 17 permutations ($11-$31) – all certified authentic with an Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana accolade – are fired up in a custom-made wood-fire oven. L’Operetta’s popular buffet lunch of pasta, pizzas and small bites at $10 similarly feature at the Circular Road outpost, and night time sees the roll out of a smaller menu of cheese ($15) and cold cut ($24) platters, bar grub ($6-$18) and pasta ($18-$24).
