Nestled deep within the district’s private estate, this vintage family-run establishment proffers an eclectic combo of curated antiques and British-inspired dishes such as bangers and mash ($12.90), IPA chicken ($13.90), a boneless chicken leg marinated in Indian Pale Ale sauce, and a traditional Hainanese oxtail stew ($24.90) served with potatoes, carrots and bread. A café arm housed inside the restaurant also serves up coffee from local roasters Toby’s Estate.
The restaurant also celebrates the end of the week with a TGIF set lunch special ($14.90/two courses, $16.90/three courses) on Fridays (noon-3pm) with options like beef stew, oven baked dory and chicken leg finished with apricot sauce.
