This Italian trattoria is already a hit with the neighbourhood set at Serangoon Garden. Chef-owner Salvatore Buono keeps things simple with well-executed dishes like carpaccio, portobello mushrooms in herbflecked cream, and linguine al cartoccio – heavy loops of al dente pasta with fat mussels, baby langoustines and squid rings. Try the Buono, a slab of thin-crusted pizza that could feed two – its base slathered with a light cream sauce and sprinkled with arugula and chunks of homemade sausages.
