As the name suggests, you’ll find an equally strong emphasis on good food and liquor at the recently opened Westin Singapore’s 33rd floor restaurant Cook & Brew. There’s a small bites menu to start you off, with plates like the salt and pepper squid ($12) and sharing options like the chilli con carne mini tacos with soft melted cheese ($10). There’s also a selection of local options, such as chilli crab with fried shallots ($29) and the hot and sour seafood pot ($27). The single malt whisky menu is one of the more diverse you’ll find at a hotel bar in town, and the craft beer menu offers solid representation from countries such as Belgium, Scotland and New Zealand. To sweeten an evening indulging in drinks here, Cook & Brew’s best bar deal offers six oysters at just $9 when you order a bottle of white wine before 6pm.
