This place is always crowded, and a line often forms. But in the best traditions of Asian dining, you’re usually seated (even if you end up sharing a table), eating and out the door in 40 minutes. The specialty is authentic Thai street food at easy-on-thewallet prices, and the menu is extensive with two or three size servings. The pad Thai is a lush portion of noodles, seafood, peanuts, vegetables and chilli flakes. The tom yam is a tureen crowded with spices and herbs, and hit with tart lime, while the mango salad comes studded with tiny onion slivers. End the meal with a coconut juice – refreshingly sweet and dense with thick cuts of white flesh.
Cash only.
