Chinatown Complex’s Village of Sheue Puffs is now Flourish Pastries, pulling in an office lunch crowd at its new Tanjong Pagar takeaway store with more than its shoot-to-fame vanilla cream puffs ($2.80). Find French and Austrian-style pastries from $2.80: Vienna-style apple strudel, Provençal quiche, and puits d’amour – a classical French puff pastry with a brittle caramel topcoat. We’ll return for the chocolate crumble tart ($4.20) – featuring a supreme slab of thin-crusted velvety chocolate.
