The 30-stall food-court has been kitted out with early-twentieth century memorabilia such as a Chinese sedan chair and hawker pushcarts. The draw-card here is the galaxy of well-known hawkers including the stunning Depot Road Zhen Shan Mei Laksa (made one clay-pot at a time), Yong Heng Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee, Lau Di Fang Scissors-cut Curry Rice (still going strong after 70 years), Tiong Bahru Lee Hong Kee Roasted Duck and Malaysian stalwart, Ah Koong Fishball Noodles. Come early as the lunch and dinner crowds are crushing.
