Homegrown fine-dining stalwart offers a chic city outlet at Raffles Hotel
As the urban complement to Halia at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, this latest outlet offers a similar menu of European dishes with Asian influences, bringing in a new concept – big and small plates. With elegant yet casual surroundings highlighted by trees scattered around the place, it encourages a more communal dining experience with must-tries from small plates like celeriac 'lasagna' ($12), foie gras salad ($23), confit salmon ($16) and oriental pulled duck ($18), along with heartier big plates such as Halia chilli crab spaghetti ($25), seafood gratin ($26), sous vide Baharat chicken leg ($28) and Chilean seabass en papillote ($43).
If you've got a sweet tooth, go for the refreshingly chilled strawberry soup ($12), delectable sticky toffee pudding ($10) or melt-in-your-mouth chocolate and orange custard ($10). Wash it all down with a sip of the signature Halia infusion ($10) of sundried ginger and wild mountain honey, or Halia mint berry ($12) made up of ginger, mint leaf, fresh blueberries and Sprite.
