Serangoon Gardens has plenty to be proud of – Chomp Chomp, casual alfresco bars – but one of the best finds is Ice3 [read: Ice-cubed…cute huh?], an ice cream shop that’s both the perfect place for a date and to bring your laptop to do work. Though it’s kind of a teeny-bopper hangout, it boasts make-your-own sundaes, waffles with rich ice cream that has no hint of freezer burn (a problem in Singapore), and plush red couches in the back. There’s another outlet at Century Square @ Tampines.
