Highlights at this yakiniku restaurant from Japan include various cuts of top-grade, melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu beef – from Sasami (flank steak; $50/$69 for 80g/120g) to Harami (skirt meat; $36/$49 for 80g/120g) – cooked right on your table. Thanks to their specially designed barbeque pits, which suck out most of the smoke, we left the restaurant without smelling like a piece of grilled meat ourselves. For a bit of variety, try their Tsubo-Zuke Kurobuta (pork collar; $19 for 180g), while seafood lovers can indulge in the Kaisen Moriawase (assorted seafood platter with tiger prawn, Hokkaido scallop and squid; $56).
