The high chairs and tables, sunny lighting and bold murals project this as an upscale yet unpretentious watering hole. The kitchen is led by chef Sudirman bin Alias (aka Chef Man), who formulated the menu from his many trips to Spain: the paella valenciana ($35) comes with chorizo, chicken, seafood and vegetables simmered in home-made broth; calamares rellenos (grilled stuffed squid, $12.50) and tortilla española (Spanish omelette, $8) are staples. We have high hopes for the churros con chocolate (deep-fried dough with home-made chocolate sauce, $7).
Main courses $8-$35.
