Nando's

Nando's is a chain of restaurants that originated in South Africa and known for its grilled chicken and peri-peri (Swahili for chili) sauce. Their bottled hot sauce comes in four levels of spiciness, ranging from lemon & herb to extra-hot peri-peri. Try the signature Peri-Peri Flame-grilled chicken ($13.90 for a quarter-chicken) or the Cataplana ($18), a unique dish consisting of a chicken thigh grilled in your choice of peri peri sauce, rice and sautéed capsicum, courgettes, onions and ripe tomatoes.
