The Japanese grill and sushi restaurant at One Fullerton is reminiscent of rotabayaki restaurants that have been sprouting all over the Lion City, but they’ve got a few tricks up their sleeve, most notably a charcoal grill powered by high-grade, smokeless white charcoal (binchotan) that can burn at extremely high temperatures. They grill practically anything, from Sorire-su (chicken thigh skewer, $3) to Wagyu Enoki Maki ($12). Come with an empty stomach.
