This second-storey, 150-seater acoustic music venue filled up with mostly low warm-wooded furniture belts out both English and Mandarin tunes, so it’s fitting that its menu is an eclectic mix: thin-crust pizzas, pastas and local fare. The chunky ‘spam and carrot cake’ ($12) – a twist on its savoury local namesake, not the dessert – has raised eyebrows, while the inclusion of the North Taiwan lychee and honeydew beers (both $14 each) has received a thumbs-up.
