We don’t mind if the Sands’ nifty new all-chocolate spread on Level 57 is suspiciously similar to Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong’s acclaimed chocolate buffet, as the highly prized aphrodisiac is well worth the $38 tab ($20 extra for a glass of bubbly). And it very well should be; after all, with creations like strawberry-basil truffle pop, chocolate-caramel apple cake annd piña colada agar with rosemary-infused milk chocolate and caramelised pineapple, you’d be hard pressed not be satisfied by at least one staple. Aptly enough, the bar opens after 8pm.
