Another addition to the cluster of cafes on Arab Street, this new space is helmed by Pav Khialani, previously from Sarnies. Although it’s slightly lacking in size compared to the regular parking spot for aircraft, The Hangar is home to several exotic single origin coffee beans meant to take drinkers to a new high, such as the Ethiopian Cherry or Tanzania Karatu. Food choices include the Fully Sick Sandwich ($11) with roast chicken, basil pesto and Greek yogurt, or the Stoner’s Surprise ($16), waffles with mixed berries and Canadian maple syrup. After the meal, hang out with a cup of Egyptian chamomile ($6), Earl Grey ($5), or get a buzz with a mochaccino ($5) or vanilla latte ($5).

The portion is very small, the service is bad and do not expect to get what you ordered. Had lunch there with my husband and some friends. My husband had the cuban shoulder pork main and my friends ordered the steak sandwich and an additional portion of normal fries which they were told wld b around $5.

As for me, I ordered a "Mango Madness" smoothie and the steak which the menu stated comes with a side of parmesan fries. I was interested to try their parmesan fries which is why I chose the steak. When asked how I wld like the steak done, I requested for medium rare.

However when the food came, my husband's dish had different ingredients than stated in the menu, I cld barely taste any mango in my Mango smoothie, there was no trace of parmesan on my so-called parmesan fries and my steak was well done instead of medium rare. After asking the waitress, she confirmed that I was served plain fries. But my request to her and later to her colleague for it to be changed were totally ignored.

Finally I went to their counter with my plate and the waitress ask: "What do u want us to do?? Sprinkle it with parmesan?!". When I also pointed out that my steak was well done, the same waitress was again very rude. Then a guy who i suspect is the owner came from the bar, barely looked at it and insisted that it was "pink" in the middle which is what He considers medium rare and there was nothing they were going to do about it!!

Once the bill came we also realised the additional fries that my friends ordered was $10+!
