From chefs who claimed to have won accolades and cooked in hotels and other chain restaurants, their new bistro comes short in the wow factor, using processed cheese for its signature beef burger ($11.90) and serving up overly salty truffle fries ($6). Pairing up with veteran chef Stephen Yong, chef Eddy Wan ventured out of its humble hawker setup at China Square Food Centre to take on an elevated menu, with pork belly pasta with a 63 degree egg ($15.90), slow cooked salmon ($15.90), braised beef cheek ($16.90) and foie gras ($13.90) filling the lines.
