Time Out says

This August, go on a voyage of discovery with the launch of Wine Lust Journeys, a series of tailored wine events. Organised by the 1-Group, Wine Lust Journeys offers guests the opportunity to discover over 300 wine labels and grape varietals from 11 wine regions across its restaurants. To further enhance your experience, specially-created dishes designed to complement the wines feature in a series of tasting events.

The Wine Lust Journeys are held across 4 of 1-Group’s most stunning venues: Botanico at the Garage located in Singapore’s beautiful Botanic Gardens, Summerhouse Dining Room and Wineseed Bar in the historic surroundings of Seletar Aerospace Park, Monti Restaurant settled on Singapore’s waterfront by the Fullerton Bay, and Stellar, which has gorgeous views of Singapore’s city and bay area.

Botanico is hosting a wine dinner ($90) on August 30, featuring a five-course menu paired with wines from Australia’s Katnook Estate. Highlights include a sea bass ceviche with lime and coriander paired the estate’s Sauvignon Blanc. The Sauvignon blanc does an excellent job in enhancing the fresh, citrusy notes of the ceviche, a testament to the sommeliers and chef’s collaborative efforts. There is also an Australian Lamb T-Bone steak dressed on a bed of mint and coriander pesto punctuated with golden raisin purée, which pairs favourably with the robust but not overpowering Cabernet Sauvignon. Katnook Estate wines are also available for purchase throughout August at specially discounted prices. And on August 27, Botanico will host a Wine Lust Affair, where you can taste your way through 69 labels of wine from old and new world estates for just $35.

From August 15 to 31, purchase wines from an expertly curated selection of 100 labels at The Summerhouse's Cellar Door Experience. Wine-inspired dinners will also be available throughout the month, where head chef Florian Ridder reinterprets signature dishes from three partner vineyards in Australia. Think dishes like scallop ceviche doused in buttermilk and watercress oil, garnished with marigolds picked from the Summerhouse gardens paired with an Australian Riesling from Leeuwin Estate.

Monti invites individuals to sample and purchase an exclusive range of magnums and jeroboams from Spain and Italy. Rarely released to the public, jeroboams are wine bottles which hold 4.5 litres of wine, equivalent to 6 regular bottles of wine – an impressive sight to behold. Jeroboams on offer include a 2011 Bodegas Roda Rjoja Reserva Jeroboam from Spain, which has a satisfying full-bodied oak foundation with accents of ripe cherry and rosemary. It's available throughout the month of August as an exclusive house pour at $22 per glass. Monti's Sunday brunches, Monti Festino, offers interpretations of local dishes ($10 each) such as laksa risotto and gula melaka panna cotta, paired with wines available by the glass or by the bottle ($78).

Take the elevator up to Singapore's highest restaurant, Stellar, for an exploration of old and new world Cabernets. Soak in the magnificent view as you sip on wines by the glass (or bottle, we don't judge) or head down on August 31 for an exclusive event ($50) that pairs wine with various cheeses to celebrate International Cabernet Day.
