Known for its epic parties, Adrift by David Myers is throwing its annual Mistletoe & Martini shindig on December 21 from 10pm till late to celebrate Christmas in style. Line your stomach with the restaurant's signature bar snacks like the New England lobster roll ($8) and wagyu cheeseburger ($28) while sipping on one-for-one martinis ($30).

For those that prefer a sit-down affair, opt for the five-course dining experience ($188) happening on New Year's Eve. Expect innovative dishes like spanner crab salad with cured egg and macadamia, confit ocean trout with sorrel as well as everyone's favourite dry-aged striploin steak. Top it off with the beverage pairing ($100) of unique cocktails and wine to enhance your dinner.

Throughout the month of December, Adrift is also offering exclusive dishes that are perfect for sharing. There's the smoked peri peri chicken platter ($88) that comes sizzling with wood-fired peri peri chicken as well as sides like salads and fries and the Grand Plateau Seafood Platter ($128) that has juicy king crab legs, Hokkaido sea urchin, Big Eye tuna, French mussels and langoustines. Feeling fancy? Get a serving of caviar (from $98 for 30g) and pop a bottle of champagne (from $180).

For a lavish buffet spread, book a table at RISE. Tuck into a myriad of international cuisines and local delights made to perfection with sustainably-sourced ingredients from local and regional farms. This December, there are festive options like roasted Australian wagyu hip, turkey with stuffing and giblet sauce plus a selection of fresh seafood such as whole tuna, hamachi, lobster and Alaskan king crab. Just for Christmas Day and New Year's Day, pop by for brunch and be treated to Singaporean favourites, black pepper slipper lobster and chilli crab as well as decadent creations like pan seared foie gras, white peach brioche with balsamico reduction and a delectable array of desserts.

The festivities don't end after Christmas, from December 26 to January 1, RISE goes international with seafood bouillabaisse, Moroccan-style roasted baby lamb and pan-seared foie gras with sauteed wild mushrooms.

Lunch is priced from $68 per adult and $25 per child, dinner from $88 per adult and $38 per child. Christmas Day and New Year's Day brunch from $158 per adult and $58 per child.

Celebrity chef Daniel Boulud never disappoints, so you know you’re in safe hands this Christmas at db Bistro and Oyster Bar. The restaurant’s festive four-course menu ($120) takes indulgence to the next level with a Guinness blini topped Oscietra caviar and smoked Scottish salmon, foie gras marbré paired with pear and red wine marmalade as well Brittany turbot with wild mushroom and bok choy ginger broth.

On New Year’s Eve, expect an extravagant five-course dinner ($198) that features some of the chef’s star creations. There’s the signature Maine scallops in Black Tie, diver scallops wrapped in spinach and flaky pastry before black truffle is generously shaved on top. For dessert, choose between two stunners, the rose pavlova or chocolate decadence – either way, you’re sure to leave satisfied.

For a Christmas spread any Italian nonna would approve of, head down to Nostra Cucina. The restaurant doles out a four-course festive dinner spread ($98) on Christmas Eve, featuring dishes like chestnut tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and Iberico ham chop with apple mostarda. Wake up early on Christmas Day for a three-course brunch ($98) with mains like turkey porchetta dressed in cranberry and pine nut salsa. But save space for dessert because the meal ends with an all-you-can-eat dolci buffet packed with biscotti, cupcakes, log cake and hot chocolate.

Countdown to the new year by having dinner at Nostra Cucina before heading outside to catch the fireworks display. Inspired by the rich heritage of Italian cuisine, the meal ($138) delights guest with four courses of dishes like foie gras torchon with jackfruit mostarda and beef short rib agnolotti. Toast to a fantastic 2019 by opting for the Riserva wine pairing (S$100) to complete your meal.

Go all out and celebrate Christmas in absolute decadence at Waku Ghin. The two-Michelin star restaurant by celebrity chef Tetsuya Wakuda is presenting a 10-course tasting menu ($550) featuring some of its signatures like the marinated botan shrimp with uni and Oscietra caviar as well as Tasmanian Cape Grim tenderloin with truffle.

New Year's Eve and Day are just as extravagant with a 10-courses ($550) showcasing the likes of charcoal-grilled unagi with foie gras and pan-seared Hokkaido scallop with Oscietra caviar. After your meal, head over to the open dining room with an up-close view of the bustling bay. There, executive pastry chef Yasushi Ishino serves intricate desserts such as peach compote with lychee granita and champagne jelly as well as jasmine mousse with kumquat and chocolate sorbet.
