BAKE Cheese Tart Singapore (Westgate)

Now you don't have to go all the way to ION Orchard to queue for BAKE cheese tarts ($3.50/each, $19.50/box of six). The pastry shop from Sapporo has opened a second outlet, in Westgate. Famous for its oozing cream cheese centres, the pastries are made in Hokkaido and flown in – to ensure authenticity in flavour – before being baked on-site. The twice-baked cheese tarts are filled with three different types of cream cheese (Hakodate, Betsukai and French cheese) and are rich in flavour yet light in texture with a crunchy base.
