The largest Korean burger bar has arrived at Clarke Quay. And unlike its Western competition, Burger+ hopes to lure hungry bellies with its late-night operating hours, heady Korean flavours, expansive space, and snazzy K-pop tunes.
While the sun’s up, dig into a hearty breakfast egg toast stuffed with avocado ($8.50) or ham and cheese ($7.50). And as the night arrives, treat yourself to a variety of greasy stacks. Fluffy potato buns serve as the base for different ingredients: the usual beef patty ($13.80), avocado and battered dory fish ($10.90), or bulgogi-glazed beef ($7.90). But the main highlight comes in the form of a truffle burger ($21) – layered with a juicy beef patty, truffle puree, and crowned with wild truffle shavings. While your fingers are already dirty, dig into the fried chicken (from $9.20) coated with honey, soy garlic, or the sweet-spicy yangyeom sauce.
Then, wash it all down with a handcrafted Korean cocktail (from $18) served in a bubbling, light-changing cup; an avocado honey milkshake ($9.80); or sample the Hong Kong Gal Rae? (from $8.80), an exclusive fruity, floral lager brewed specially for Burger+.
