Historical buta-don from Hokkaido
Travelling south from Hokkaido, Butahage brings with it its secret sauce, which it has mixed and draped over pork slices over rice for more than 80 years. Here, Butahage builds its bowls with Yumepirica rice, pork flame-grilled to 850ºC, and sauce shipped from home. The standard bowl features 160g of pork ($13.80), but upsized versions featuring 240g of meat ($17.80) and 300g of meat ($22.80) can also be ordered. Meats can also be enjoyed with udon ($16.80) and as part of a bento set with salmon sashimi and shrimp gyoza.
