It's a full-on Italian feast at La Strada over Christmas Eve and day ($68), so expect lots of seafood and meats. Begin with Gillardeau oysters, octopus, smoked eel and an assortment of cold cuts, then move on to the pastas: there's carbonara with truffle and Maine lobster taliolini, among others. The mains is where things get serious. You've got grilled rib-eye, Welsh lamb rack with pistachio crust and, for the traditionalists, a baked seabass fillet. And for dessert, leave your diet and take the cannoli – or, since it's Christmas, panettone.
