The folks behind the CBD's favourite post-work watering hole, Five, put together five food stalls in a hall fit for 300. King of good-value Japanese, Teppei Yamashita serves curry rice ($15.80) and kaisendons ($16) via his quick-service Syokudo stall, and Grub Noodle Bar dishes out its Asian-seasoned bowls of Seriously Good Beef and miso pork noodles in an express format. Three other new concepts – Cinqo Tapas, Korean-repping Gogi and Omnivore and its salads – also serve food from stalls. Five Square runs on a fully automated self-service ordering and payment kiosk, and will even text you when your dish is ready. Prices range from $4 to $24.80.
