Time Out says

The picture-perfect beaches of Barcelona are like no other, but the sea-facing views of Tanjong Beach over at FOC by the Beach come pretty darn close. But panoramic views aside, this laidback beachfront restaurant also has a lineup of tasty Spanish dishes. Like many other Spanish restaurants, a large paella to share with the whole tabe is a must-order for its crisp, slightly charred edges – it also comes packed full of flavour and ingredients like fresh seafood or Iberico pork presa. For a more unique take on traditional Spanish fare though, it’s the FOC Potato Churros that blew us away with its warm, toasty crunch paired with a homemade aioli and spicy tomato dip.

What’s on

Playa del Sol Market @ FOC

Summer isn’t over yet (Zara Larsson said it first). That is pretty much true at Playa del Sol Market. The weekend lifestyle and fashion pop-up curated by Sunday Social takes over FOC By The Beach for two days of beach and poolside shopping, featuring a collection of resort wear and beach staples from more than 20 summer-inspired brands. Find your next favourite bag from Your Tote Story, discover French-inspired swimwear designs from Blue Atelier, and pick up soothing body care from Belantara. Other brands to look out for include Zulupack Singapore, Hidden Riches, Maracuya Handmade and others. Beyond the shopping and browsing, there’s also a matcha 101 workshop hosted by Tori Matcha. The lesson includes how to spot quality matcha ingredients, expert whisking techniques and DIY-ing your own matcha latte. Elsewhere, the market also boasts tarot readings, henna tattoos and plenty of gourmet treats for that post-retail therapy activity. There’s no strict dress code, but everyone’s invited to arrive in their best Ibiza chic. That means coming in your brightest and boldest beachwear ’fits to suit the occasion.
