Café hoppers would be familiar with Guerilla Coffee, which is most known for its signature coffees – the Singapore latte and Straits latte. For the longest time, the café only had one outlet at Suntec City, but it has recently opened a second outlet at Gillman Barracks in collaboration with floral workshop Ida’s. The new Gillman Barracks outlet is a stark contrast to the Suntec City outlet, choosing to ditch the minimalist aesthetic for an abundance of flora and fauna both indoors and outdoors. Opting for wooden tables, green marble countertops, and rattan chairs, the new outlet embraces a rustic aesthetic that feels cosy and welcoming.
A new outlet comes with a new menu, introducing traditional British fare with a contemporary twist. New inclusions like grilled picanha ($32), tamarind sea bass ($26) and citrus crab with handmade fettuccine ($30) can be found alongside brunch classics like the full English breakfast ($32) and eggs royale ($26). Guerilla Coffee’s new outlet also features a pet-friendly outdoor area that is sheltered, so rest assured you and your furkids can still keep cool even during the hottest of days.
