The next time you dine at Hai Di Lao, you might find yourself being served by an adorable robot, while the walls around you come alive with immersive light and sound projections. These new futuristic features can be found at the famous hotpot chain’s latest Marina Square outlet, which opened on Tuesday (December 31).
And as if we needed more reasons to visit the restaurant (beyond free manicures, screen protectors, and noodle-dancing performances), Hai Di Lao has upped the ante by introducing its Personalised Soup Base Service technology. Depending on how salty or spicy they like their soup, diners will now be able to customise their own soup base with its new smart kitchen. This is Hai Di Lao’s first overseas outlet to provide such a service.
To add to the dining experience, the walls of the restaurant will also be turned into sources of entertainment with light and sound projections. Catch views of enchanting forests and cascading waterfalls as you enjoy a piping hot meal. Need more food? Don’t be surprised if you’re served by a friendly-looking robot instead.
