Jamie's Italian is launching a pop-up market over the Easter weekend. You can take home Jamie's housemade pastas – made from a combination of free-range eggs, Italian 00-grade and semolina flours, ranging from penne to tagliatelle – and receive a recipe on how to create accompanying sauces. But if you don't want to make your sauces from scratch, sauces such as Gennaro's signature Bolognese and a rich arrabbiata are also be available for purchase.
While you're there, indulge in the Easter special: a Somersby Cider-infused roasted pork belly served with braised red cabbage, marinated char-grilled fennel and slow baked apricot stuffed green apple topped with orange gremolata ($32.50).
Eating aside, kids can learn more about Italian produce, customise their own dessert creations and participate in an apple hunt during the market. Adults get the chance to pick up professional cooking tips and otherwise kick back with bottles of Somersby Cider ($8/bottle, $35/five).
