Time Out says
There seems to be a running trend with Kilo. It's moved spaces (from Kampong Bugis to Duxton), changed its name (from just Kilo to Kilo Kitchen), and, accordingly, upgraded its menu (again). The swanky new space follows Kilo's industrial aesthetic, with reclaimed timber, sturdy canvas blinds and brass finishings juxtaposed against warm drop lights, cushions in bright hues of yellow, pink and scarlet. Plus plenty of indoor plants to play up its safari-chic vibe.
It still serves Kilo's familiar brand of Japanese-Italian comfort food, now kissed with the flames from its wood-fired grill. The pan ($7), grilled bread served with a garlic confit dip is a must. As are the crab croquettes ($8) and Kilo's signature seafood ceviche ($23) a tangy mix of tuna, octopus, snapper and grilled corn. Fill up with mains like the squid ink rice ($29), which is served in a clay pot and covered in ikura and crispy baby squid.
