Slurp down a comforting bowl of pao fan at King of Pao Fan, helmed by a former Raffles Hotel chef. Here, rich and aromatic broth contains steamed rice topped with fried egg floss and rice puffs – and of course, fresh seafood of your choice. If you're ready to splurge, go for the half live lobster pao fan ($18) which is worth the price considering the amount of meaty lobster you get. Otherwise, they also have seafood pao fan ($7) with big prawns, clams and fried fish, duo pao fan ($6) for the best of both fried and steamed fish, or just clams and steamed fish toppings alone.
