Kurasu - Orchard

Kurasu which means 'to live' in Japanese is a specialty coffee cafe from Japan. After opening its first outlet in Kyoto, the well-received results propelled an overseas branch in Singapore. Known for its artisan coffee beans and roasting style from Japan, the coffee outfit has since garnered a cult following of fervent coffee enthusiasts. Now, the expansion sees a second Singapore outpost, bringing familiar aromas and textures of artisanal Japanese coffee to the ever-bustling Orchard Road.

While there isn't any information as to whether the new space will sport a new menu, the grand opening on April 7 is set to reveal a whole new look and feel that promises an entirely different experience for all Kurasu fans – as teased by Kurasu's socials. Orchard will soon have its very own peaceful haven for those looking to take a breather from their wild shopping sprees. Take note though, like the first outlet in Waterloo, Kurasu Orchard will be closed on the first Monday of each month.
