Time Out says

Behind a discreet sliding door along the ever-buzzy Robertson Quay lies a hidden gem with an eclectic disco 70s look and feel that even early Travolta wouldn’t resist bussing out a few moves. In the dimly-lit space, you’d quickly spot sparkling disco balls and the iconic glow of the Tala pendants while you strut to your seat along head-bopping beats from jive-worthy tunes. It is a blast from the past, quite literally.

On a typical Saturday night, the disco fever ensues with a live DJ on the deck – a stark contrast to the weekday ambience when it is way more intimate. At the bar, the cheeky bartenders introduce a little flair to their shake while the relentless ticket machine continues to spit out orders. Amongst the extensive bar menu – mainly cocktails, a couple of beers and wines – the disco-inspired cocktails are playful takes on popular disco tracks of the 70s.

For an easy start, try the Boogie Wonderland ($22), a refreshingly light and floral cocktail with hints of citrus and elderflower. The melon forward Get Lucky ($23) is likely to be a popular choice among those who let their cameras drink before them due to the berry-flavoured smoke bubble. Mezcal fans, check out the – surprisingly approachable – Hot Stuff ($25) where rich smoke tangos well with sweetly spiced pear. Though the Last Dance ($25) drinks stiffer than its counterparts with a touch of cherry and arrives in an applewood smoked jar.

There are also classics such as the Negroni ($23) and Vesper ($25) but also a Lil’ Tiger signature cheekily named The Grape Mistake ($24) that's definitely a popular hit amongst regulars. Don’t be fooled by the harmless appearance that resembles a classic clover cup, this deceivingly drinkable tipple uses the sweet fruitiness of Kyoho grapes to help balance the prickly heat of the tequila and firewater bitters.

Of course, no great boozy party is without food and prices are kept affordable too. A win is a win whenever you can stretch your dollar. Expect to chow down on comforting grub like the super umami chicken-skin seasoned fries ($9) and juicy sweet corn elotes ($12) that even comes with a proper sprinkle of salty funky Cotija cheese. There’s also a bright and zesty salsa ($9) that comes with shatteringly crisp tortilla chips. Though it is the hearty meats that complete the proper feast with the likes of the tender Pork Schnitzel ($24) or the beefy Wagyu Hanger Steak ($36) sourced from the acclaimed producer Snake River Farms.

Now all that’s left to do is dance your worries away and shake those calories off.
