Lime Restaurant at Parkroyal Collection Pickering celebrates its 10th anniversary with the launch of Lime Capsule. From August 14 to October 31, guests can look forward to a buffet extravaganza that is set to showcase a decade’s worth of crowd favourites.
Spearheaded by newly appointed executive chef Alvin Leong, the restaurant blends local and international flavours to take fans of Lime Restaurant down memory lane with nostalgic dishes and flavours of yesteryear. While homage is paid to the classics, a forward-looking range of current and future favourites will also be presented.
With over 23 years of experience, chef Alvin debuts at Lime Restaurant with his signature beef short rib that is first sous vide for 24 hours and finished with a homemade rendang sauce featuring over 30 ingredients. Prepare to sink your teeth into the fork-tender short ribs complemented by the rich and robust sauce.
Alongside chef Alvin is his dedicated team of talented chefs behind the elevated spread. Guests can look forward to savouring more local delights: Pickering lobster laksa that boasts succulent lobsters in a rich and piquant gravy, lobster Hokkien mee with crispy roast pork, squid and fragrant sambal chilli, wok-kissed Alaskan king crab char kway teow, roti jala with lobster curry, spicy crab meat kueh pie tee and the iconic Singapore rojak.
Fans of international fare should definitely check out the Beggar’s chicken live station where you can watch the chef crack apart the salt-baked crust to reveal the juicy baked poultry. Expect other international signatures such as the luscious Pickering lobster risotto and Australian lamb neck chops with black pepper sauce too. Don’t forget to end off sweet at the matcha chocolate fountain.
